These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by Piggy Proof and to every distance contract concluded between Piggy Proof and the consumer.

Article 1 – Definitions

The definitions are unchanged and remain as previously stated in the neutral version. Wherever "entrepreneur" is mentioned, Piggy Proof is meant.

Article 3 – Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by Piggy Proof and to every distance contract concluded between Piggy Proof and the consumer. Prior to the agreement, the consumer will be informed about these terms and conditions. If this is not immediately possible, Piggy Proof will indicate where they can be consulted and will send them free of charge upon request. In the case of electronic conclusion, the terms and conditions will be made available in a durable manner. In case of conflicting provisions, the most favorable one for the consumer applies.

Article 4 – The offer

If an offer has a limited period of validity, this will be clearly stated.
The description of products is complete and correct.
Obvious mistakes or errors do not bind Piggy Proof.
Every offer contains information about rights and obligations upon acceptance.

Article 5 – The agreement

The agreement is concluded upon acceptance by the consumer.
Piggy Proof will immediately confirm acceptance.
Piggy Proof adequately secures electronic data transfer.
In case of doubt about creditworthiness, Piggy Proof may refuse orders.

Article 6 – Right of withdrawal

The consumer has a 14-day cooling-off period without giving any reason.
This period starts the day after receipt of the product.

Article 7 – Consumer's obligations during the cooling-off period

The consumer will handle the product and packaging carefully.
Any reduction in value due to careless use will be at the consumer's expense.

Article 8 – Exercise of the right of withdrawal by the consumer and costs thereof

The consumer must unambiguously notify within the term that they wish to withdraw.
The product must be returned within 14 days.
The consumer bears the return costs, unless otherwise agreed.

Article 9 – Obligations of Piggy Proof in case of withdrawal

Piggy Proof will immediately confirm the withdrawal.
Refund will be made within 14 days after notification of return, including delivery costs.
The same payment method will be used for the refund.

Article 10 – Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

Piggy Proof may exclude the right of withdrawal for:

Customized products
Hygienic products where the seal has been broken

Article 11 – The price

Prices include VAT.
Price increases within 3 months after the agreement are only permitted in case of legal changes.

Article 12 – Performance and additional guarantee

Piggy Proof guarantees that products comply with the agreement.
An additional guarantee does not affect legal rights.

Article 13 – Delivery and execution

Piggy Proof delivers carefully and on time.
Delivery to the specified address.
In case of delay, the consumer will be informed within 30 days.

Article 14 – Duration transactions: duration, termination and extension

Agreements for an indefinite period can be terminated with a 1-month notice period.
Automatic extension is only permitted for certain magazines.

Article 15 – Payment

Payment within 14 days after receipt of the product, unless otherwise agreed.
Piggy Proof may request a maximum of 50% for advance payment.

Article 16 – Complaints procedure

Piggy Proof has a clear complaints procedure.
Complaints will be handled within 14 days.
The consumer will be given at least 4 weeks for a solution.

Article 17 – Disputes

Dutch law applies to all agreements with Piggy Proof.

Article 18 – Additional or differing provisions

Additional provisions will be laid down in writing.

Article 19 – Webwinkel Keurmerk (Webshop Quality Mark)

In case of complaints, a consumer should first contact the entrepreneur. If the webshop is affiliated with WebwinkelKeur and in case of complaints that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the consumer should contact WebwinkelKeur (www.webwinkelkeur.nl), who will mediate free of charge. Check whether this webshop has a current membership via https://www.webwinkelkeur.nl/leden/. If no solution is reached, the consumer has the option to have their complaint handled by the independent disputes committee appointed by WebwinkelKeur; its decision is binding and both the entrepreneur and the consumer agree to this binding decision. Submitting a dispute to this disputes committee involves costs that must be paid by the consumer to the relevant committee.
