Suede gives shoes a warm, velvety look — but it's also the material that stains the fastest. The good news: with five minutes of work beforehand, you can prevent 90% of the damage.
The soft fibers of suede act like thousands of tiny sponges. Water, oil, and dirt are absorbed directly into them. A nanotech protector creates an invisible layer around each fiber, causing moisture to bead off instead of soaking in — without affecting its breathable, soft structure.
Always start with a clean, dry shoe
Protection seals in what's underneath. If you apply your protector to a dirty shoe, you'll seal in the dirt. First, brush away loose dust with a soft suede brush and let the shoe dry completely before proceeding.
Spray in thin, even layers
Hold the can about 20 cm away and move evenly. Two thin layers work better than one thick one — the latter will leave stains. Let the first layer dry for ten minutes before applying the second.
"Two thin layers protect better than one thick one — and you won't see any residue."
Repeat every four to six weeks
Protection wears off with use. For daily use, we recommend a new layer every four weeks; for occasional use, six weeks is sufficient. A simple water test will reveal the answer: if water still beads off, you're good to go.
- Always brush in the direction of the nap, never back and forth.
- Store suede dry and out of direct sunlight — UV light fades the color.
- Fresh stain? Dab immediately, never rub.
